Hyundai releases first official renderings of the all-new Eon city-car!

Hyundai will unveil a brand-new city car in India next month. Scheduled to make its official public premiere in October, the new mini-car from Hyundai will be called Eon.

It will be the smallest car Hyundai has ever produced and will be offered exclusively in India. The second most populated country in the world will also be the home of new Hyundai Eon, as the carmaker will produce it there.

While we have no reports on estimated sales numbers, the Eon will be a high-volume car competing against the likes of Tata Nano and Suzuki Alto, which has been the best selling vehicle in India for years.

The new Eon will be built upon a modified i10 platform and will be powered by a brand-new 0,8L engine developed by Hyundai. The engine churns out 56 horsepower and achieves 21,1 km with one liter of fuel!

2012 Hyundai Veloster: Full Pricing Announced, Returns up to 40MPG, Sales Start in September

We won't have to wait until the end of the week to find out the full pricing of the 2012 Veloster as Hyundai has just released detailed information.

The three-door sports hatchback will be offered in the States in a single trim level, with the six-speed manual model priced at $17,300 and the six-speed EcoShift Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) version at $18,550. Neither price includes a $760 freight charge, which lifts the cost to $18,060 and $19,310 respectively.

Hyundai Tweets that Veloster will Start at $17,300, Undercuts CR-Z by More than $2,000

It’s been a while since we last heard about the new Hyundai Veloster, but today, the South Korean automaker posted a tweet on its official Twitter page announcing the base price and stating that it will release full U.S. pricing by the end of this week.

"Stay tuned for full Veloster pricing info later this week. But here's the best part: The well-equipped Veloster starts at just $17,300," Hyundai wrote on Twitter.

Hyundai to Repair Steering on 2011 MY Sonata's that Pull Toward the Left

Hyundai Motor America announced that it will fix a steering problem affecting the 2011 MY Sonata mid-size sedan produced between Sept. 1, 2010 and April 30, 2011.

The company took action after more than 4,000 Sonata owners complained to dealers that the car tends to pull towards to the left. The South Korean automaker said it suspects that as many as 41,000 cars could be affected by this issue.

After the launch of the i10 Blue at the beginning of the year, Hyundai is doubling its eco-friendly offerings in the UK's small car segment with the addition of the i20 Blue to its lineup.

Hyundai plans to unveil a brand-new C-segment model to replace the first-generation of its i30 at the Frankfurt Motor Show next month. Like the current model, the 2012 i30 is a product of Hyundai’s design and engineering center in Russelsheim, Germany and is designed exclusively for the European market.

Hyundai's European design boss Thomas Burkle says the i30's styling represents the next evolution of the firm's form language, ‘fluidic sculpture’. What this means is that it shares a lot of common design features with Hyundai's more recent models like the ix20, the ix35, the Veloster and the i40.

From Sydney ad firm Innocean Worldwide comes this neat little TV commercial for the 2011 Hyundai Elantra four-door sedan.

The ad features Hyundai’s C-segment offering sitting inside a non-descript brick building. Then, in a way that reminds the machine that Tony Stark uses to suit in and out of his Iron Man costume, a multitude of robot appendages unfold from the ceiling and begin removing pieces of the Elantra’s body to reveal a smaller car inside.

O verdadeiro negócio não é tão swoopy / futurista como o negócio real, mas na verdade o carro real é bastante impressionante olhar. Voltado para os gostos do VW Passat e do Mazda 6, este é um esforço muito convincente da coreanos. O i40 tem a silhueta elegante cupê de quatro portas com uma frente forte e convincente. Parece um pouco afastado do nariz família vemos no novo Hyundai ix35, então talvez essas fotos são da versão coreana, com a versão européia conseguir algo mais de acordo. A traseira é mais gordinho, mas decente olhando e todo o projeto parece ser bem coesa.

Nós não temos nenhuma notícia concreta ainda sobre o que os motores estarão disponíveis no i40, mas você pode ter certeza que eles vão incluir pelo menos um par de motores diesel turbo e, provavelmente, um V6 a gasolina.

O Hyundai i40 / Sonata é empilhamento de até ser outro grande sucesso para a Hyundai. Que com a ix35/Tucson ea venda de grande i10 e i20, os coreanos são rapidamente empurrando o japonês de lado.

Aqui estão as primeiras imagens oficiais do Hyundai i30 restyling para 2011, este novo modelo vem com retoques estéticos típicos de meio de carreira. O hatchback populares coreano recebeu um facelift ao longo dos eixos do projeto original, mas centram-se especialmente na parte dianteira.

A primeira visão mostra sua grade diferente, com barra cromada e não integrado com o capô, mas foi localizado no centro do, semelhante ao ix35. Também é evidenciado pela grande mudança que teve a entrada de ar na parte inferior e a mudança do nevoeiro e da área envolvente, uma cara nova que dá uma impressão de maior agilidade e dinamismo.
