Dr. Phil's legal move over deposition

The television personality is being sued by decorators Deborah Flattery and Brynja McGrady, who filed suit against McGraw and his wife Robin last March (09), accusing them of breaching an oral contract to promote their products on Dr. Phil's TV show.

The pair also claimed they were never fully paid for their services, and cited fraud, false advertising and intentional infliction of emotional distress in the lawsuit

The McGraws later countersued for fraud, alleging Flattery and McGrady overcharged them.

And the TV star filed documents last week (ends07Mar10), asking for a video tape of his deposition in the case to be banned from publication on the internet, reports TMZ.com.

The case is due to be taken back to court next month (Apr10).
