Achieved second place in the United States MotoGP made the Yamaha rider Jorge Lorenzo remain satisfied. Crash at last free practice make Lorenzo not sure able to perform at Laguna Seca.
Lorenzo had an accident at the last MotoGP free practice in the U.S., Saturday, July 23, 2011. And though not seriously injured, but the 2010 MotoGP world champion pleaded not comfortable throughout the final race.
However, Lorenzo was leading the race at Laguna Seca which took place before dawn, Monday, July 25, 2011. However, the Spanish rider had to give up in the hands of Casey Stoner (Repsol Honda) and had to settle for second place.
